The country's fastest Mini-Z racers return to battle in Round 3 of the Box Stock Cup on Sept 8. Series leader Gabe Monzones will be looking to continue his dominant form with four wins in four races after two rounds. The Mercedes driver looked unbeatable in the first round taking pole and winning both races in truly dominant fashion 8 and 5 laps ahead of his nearest rival Carlos Limjoco. Switching from Corvette to Ferrari for Round 2, the veteran driver was able to close most of the gap to Monzones but it wasn't enough as Gabe was still able to take both wins. In round 3, Gabe comes in with a commanding 27-point lead but the Ferrari will be looking to make gains after a few days of intense testing.
